On MSWindows logging out of the account that is used to start a run of any one of the Appchkrs will end that run. If you want the Appchkr to run indefinitely while you are not using the computer, and perhaps others need to, then use the "switch user" capability of Windows rather than logging out of the account. Using this feature keeps the Appchkr program running under the account that started it, even while you are away and others log in and use the machine in the meantime. If the Windows host machine is not shared with others then opening the task manager (ctrl+alt+del) and selecting "lock screen" will keep the program running as well while the machine is locked to access by others.
